Fourth graders participated in Creation Stations in order to have an opportunity to get hands-on with some technology items that they have learned about. Students chose stations to go to and completed a challenge at each station. The stations focused on problem solving, creativity, coding and collaboration. Some of the stations included Spheros, BeeBots, Makey Makey Inventor kits, brick mazes and green screens.

The 4th grades particpated in a BeeBot battle after being introduced to some Choose Your Own Adventure books. One group of students had to program the BeeBot that represented Little Red Riding Hood and the other group had to program their BeeBot as if they were the Big Bad Wolf. This lessons connects literacy to coding, technology skills, and problem solving.
A huge THANK YOU to the Prairie View PTO for purchasing books for all of our students to take home and keep. Students selected a book before Winter Break so that they would all have something special to read. Thanks for all you do for View!
